AI Virtual Machines

These tasks cover creating AI Virtual Machines, connecting to them, and managing them. For what an AI Virtual Machine is and how it relates to a Compute Pool, refer to AI Virtual Machines.

Prerequisites

• A Compute Pool that runs AI Virtual Machines, and that your scope can use. Refer to Create and Manage Compute Pools.
• Permission to create and manage AI Virtual Machines in your scope. The resource is spectrocloud.com/aivirtualmachines.

If an action or button described in the documentation is not displayed, your role does not include the required permission.

Tasks

• Create an AI Virtual Machine: choose a template and sizing, review the generated manifest, and submit it.
• Access an AI Virtual Machine: download the Compute Pool cluster's kubeconfig and connect over SSH or VNC.
• Change AI Virtual Machine Credentials: replace the default username, password, or SSH keys inside a virtual machine.
• Manage an AI Virtual Machine: start, stop, clone, or delete a virtual machine.
• Troubleshoot AI Virtual Machines: diagnose placement, template, and provisioning failures.
