Overview

PaletteAI is installed through a Helm chart. The PaletteAI Helm can be found in the Mural Helm chart. It's part of the Mural Helm chart because PaletteAI is built on top of Mural and requires Mural for many critical functions. Check out the Architecture Overview page to learn more about the relationship between PaletteAI and Mural.

PaletteAI can be installed on any Kubernetes cluster, whether it's managed by cloud providers, or self-managed using bare metal or edge devices. We recommend installing PaletteAI on the same cluster that Palette is installed on. If you are not using Palette, you can install Mural and PaletteAI on any Kubernetes cluster.

Installation Methods​

  • Appliance Install - Installs Palette, and PaletteAI on the same cluster using bare metal or edge devices. This is the recommended installation method if you are using Palette.
  • Helm Chart Install - Installs Mural and PaletteAI on an existing cluster using a Helm chart. This is the recommended installation method if you are not using Palette.
